Who We Are

Grit & Grace Studio is a woman-owned small business in Charleston, South Carolina that is centered on sustainability and spreading joy. Our family of empowered women (and a few gentlemen!) handcraft beautiful oyster ring dishes, Lowcountry jewelry, ocean-inspired gifts, and thoughtful keepsakes. We lovingly refer to this small collective of powerful, creative individuals as our family of mermaids.

What We Do

We make the only oyster jewelry dishes and oyster jewelry that also gives back: we recycle 10 oyster shells from Charleston restaurants back to local oyster reef restoration projects to help combat South Carolina’s critical shell shortage. We handcraft beautiful home decor items, coastal-inspired gifts, and Lowcountry jewelry, and we carefully curate a selection of products made by local artisans, innovative female makers, and eco-friendly small businesses. We serve others with grace and work with grit, and giving back to our community remains at the heart of all we do.

What We Believe

We believe in magic, miracles, and that the world is our oyster. We remain centered in being the change we want to see in the world, taking care of the Earth, and creating gifts with the intention of sparking more joy, love, compassion, and grace into the world. We believe in so many things, we created a manifesto we can’t wait to share with you!
