Grit & Grace Studio at the Tellis Pharmacy

Our Second King Street Store

We could not be more excited to open our second King Street store in Charleston, South Carolina. Our Flagship is relocating to the iconic Tellis Pharmacy building in the Charleston historic district, a mile and a half from the first Grit & Grace Studio location at 478 King Street.

The gorgeous building at 125 King Street dates back to 1887. It showcases historic Charleston architecture and a vintage mortar and pestle sign from the early 1900s.

The Tellis Pharmacy is one of the last wooden commercial buildings with Queen Anne architectural details, and it has housed a number of local businesses through the decades.

The Grit & Grace family recently gathered to bless our new space, and we filled the walls with motivational quotes, dreams, and heartfelt intentions.

The Grit & Grace Studio Locations

Our Flagship store has long been located in the bustling Charleston shopping and fine dining district at 478 King Street. Follow the staircase to the left of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, and the twinkle lights and inspirational quotes will lead you to our whimsical retail space filled with Lowcountry jewelry, artisan-crafted products, and gilded oyster jewelry dishes.

While the Flagship store is moving to the Tellis Pharmacy building, our store on upper King Street remains open and welcomes you.

This satellite location will specialize in Grit & Grace Studio’s handcrafted oyster shell gifts, conceptual jewelry, and heirloom coastal decor items.

Our new location at 125 King Street is located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district, across from Millers All Day, one of Charleston’s most beloved breakfast spots. (With Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit and Millers All Day mere steps from our respective locations, it’s safe to say that brunch is a top priority to the Grit & Grace family.)

The Flagship store at the Tellis Pharmacy will showcase Grit & Grace Studio’s signature creations, locally made products, and carefully curated small-batch artisan gifts.

Drop in for the newest prints in our Decoupage Oyster Dishes, our limited release Oyster Garland designs, and our latest handmade jewelry, alongside Charleston souvenirs, self-care-inspired gifts, and coastal chic decor items

King Street Shopping

We’re thrilled to set up shop (literally) in two amazing and distinctive neighborhoods in the Charleston historic district.

The bustling 478 King Street location is nestled between some of Charleston’s hottest restaurants. Don’t be surprised by the eager crowd of biscuit connoisseurs lined up on either side of our doorway or the ice cream aficionados jostling for a place in line at Jeni’s Ice Cream across the street!

Fine dining establishments abound on this busy, popular section of King Street, and we have to give a shout-out to The Darling Oyster Bar, Indaco, and The Ordinary. Be sure to save time for some retail therapy after you stock up on Grit & Grace Studio products; we love our neighbors at Ro Sham Beaux and J. Stark

Are you looking for the best of all worlds? Come to our lower King Street location! You’ll enjoy quality Charleston cuisine served up by our neighborhood favorites at 167 Raw, Bin 152, 82 Queen, Poogan’s Porch, Millers All Day, and Fast & French.

Then dive into your wedding day dreams at the Lovely Bride, pick up something for the mister Berlin’s for Men, and a comfortable (and cobblestone-friendly) pair of kicks at Charleston Shoe Company.

Follow that up with a leisurely stroll around some of Charleston’s most beautiful residential streets south of Broad. Drop by the South Carolina Historical Society to learn more about the historic district and neighboring French Quarter, or plan your visit around one of the relaxing First Friday Art Walks

What’s Next?

Now that we’ve blessed our space and set our intentions, we’re busy planning our grand opening events for the Tellis Pharmacy location at 125 King Street. Until then, we would love to catch up at our upper King Street store or the Charleston Farmers Market in Marion Square each Saturday. We also have signature events in the works, more community outreach planned, and regular volunteer commitments.

Have you checked out this year’s newest Grit & Grace Studio items? We’ve released so many beautiful gifts, like our limited edition Banana Leaf Oyster Shell Garland, our Cheers Wine Charm Set, our Moon & Stars Earrings, and the Odyssey Charm Bracelet.

Pick something up for a loved one, but don’t forget to treat yourself! We’ve got a decadent Self-Care Gift Basket and artisan-crafted Los Poblanos lavender products to help you relax and recharge.

And be sure to never miss any of our studio updates, good news, and new product releases by signing up for our newsletter in the form below!

One Love & Blessings,

The Grit & Grace Family
