Meet the Mermaids: Kelly

Kelly is the epitome of a serene and grounded mermaid. She radiates happiness, always has a positive outlook, and works her tushy off! Whether she's sorting oyster shells at the port or indulging in the meditative art of painting them alongside our artists, her dedication shines through. She’s an amazing dog mom to Foster, and revels in spoiling him with affection while relishing the outdoors. If you have the pleasure of finding mini painted oyster shells at our 125 King St location, rest assured, they bear the mark of Kelly's expert craftsmanship!

Where are you from?

I grew up in Charlotte and have lived in Charleston since 2001.

What are you passionate about?

I love being active, creative and learning anything new.

How did you find your way into the G&G family?

Shortly after Covid I heard G&G was hiring…loved their vibe and products. Also at that point I remembered I had met Rachel years  before when she designed and made a dress for my sister.

What do you do in your free time?

Anything outside on a nice day…beach, on a boat or playing soccer. Spending time with family & friends and my dog, Foster.

What are you most proud of recently?

Setting goals and achieving them.

What roles have you done at G&G and how has that evolved over time?

Primary role has been as a production artist and have worked in the retail setting as well. Most recently involved in operations at our warehouse where behind the scenes production takes place.

The Grit & Grace team sends all the love and joy to Kelly as she starts this new trip around the sun!

One Love & Blessings,

The Grit & Grace Family
